For most people, Monday mornings are filled with dread. After having a lovely weekend you find yourself yet again in the car/on the train/walking to work wondering where the weekend went, why oh why it is Monday yet again and if it would be possible for you to start up your own business just so you wouldnt have to do this each week. (That's what I used to do anyway). Now don't hate me, but this is simply not the case for me anymore. Mondays and Tuesdays are my days off work from my regular job so instead of trying to squeeze in as much time in bed as is physically possible before the snooze button goes into overdrive, I wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to start, what is technically, my Saturday.
This is how I spent my morning...
And this is how I spent my afternoon..
And this is what I wore..
So as I'm sure you can see, I have had myself a typical Saturday. I ambled round town. Stumbled across vintage stores I didn't even know existed (more to come on this later in the week but in case you haven't guessed by one of the photos - I have already found something camel. I hope you are excited. You should be). Drank Lattes and read magazines in the Pavilion Gardens. Saw dogs riding skateboards in the street. Then I drank tea, ate cupcakes and caught up with old friends. Not a bad Saturday all round I'm sure you'll agree. And to top it off, this weather we're having is A-MAZING. It wasn't quite warm enough to go bare-legged but I still managed to wear a vintage sundress. Crikey if we carry on this way I'll be wearing a two-piece on Christmas Day. That'd make for uncomfortable silences round the dinner table I'm sure.
