After pinning at least 5 different Sharpie projects on my Pinterest I decided it was high time I did one for myself. So with a Tesco value mug and bowl and a Fine Black Sharpie I set to work. I decided simple was the angle I was going for and after a few initial doodles I went for it.
- Take a clean dry cup/bowl/plate etc
- Do your doodle
- Bake in the oven at 180c for 30 mins
Simple as that! Top tip - if you do make a mistake use a cotton wool bud and some nail varnish remover and it'll be like it never happened!
I think I may have the bug now as immediately I was looking for something else to draw on. The great thing about this project is that it's a super easy way to make a customised gift for a pal or just jazz up your own kitchenware for the cost of one pen. Thrifty at it's best!
