I've been wearing prescription glasses for years yet I have had an ongoing struggle with prescription sunglasses. The pairs I've ordered online previously just either don't suit me or the tint in the lens is just the wrong colour. I must have spent over £150 on prescription sunglasses in the last two years alone.
That's why I was super excited when an email dropped into my inbox about My Optique's new glasses range, London Retro. Named after London Underground stations, the glasses are all stylish AND on trend. Halleluyah!
I am a Raybans wearer for my normal glasses so I already have a love for all things retro when it comes to my specs. So I was pleasantly surprised when I was looking through the collection. All of the glasses are also really affordable at £79 a pop which is a big bonus. What's even better is that you can have a sunglasses tint put on the lenses too. Oh Hello!
My Optique kindly sent me this pair of prescription sunnies and they are brill. My search has finally come to an end. This pair of frames is the 'Fitzrovia' in tortoise shell.
If my happiness of finally having a pair of cool sunnies wasn't enough I am also giving away one pair of prescription glasses (or sunglasses!) to one of my readers.
To enter all you have to do is three simple things, follow my blog by clicking 'join this site' to the left of here, comment below with which pair of London Retro frames you would like and then head over to MyOptiques Facebook page, give them a 'like' and write 'Enter She's called Claires' giveaway on their wall.
The competition closes at midnight on the 6th March 2014 and I will announce the winner at the bottom of this blog and on my Twitter.
