Last week, myself and my business partner and bestie Miss Amy Phipps took ourselves off the radar for a little R&R. We booked ourselves into Chez Phipps (her parents caravan) and hop footed it off to the Norfolk Coast for 4 days. The caravan is in East Runton, close to Cromer. We both spent a lot of our childhood holidays in and around Cromer so going back was like a trip down memory lane for both of us.
We spent those 4 days going on lots of walks, having lots of naps and drinking lots of wine. We had the obligatory fish and chip supper, went to local pubs and invaded the local charity shops. I'm not joking when I say we literally had the best time.
The caravan was kitted out eighties stylee and we made sure we had one day on the beach with our windbreak, picnic and flask of tea.
I wished I'd taken more photos but thinking about it I quite like that I didn't. A week without technology was just the ticket and we've come back feeling rejuvenated! So much so neither of us were keen to turn our laptops on when we returned...!
Here are a few of the photos I did take though...
Yes that is ombre nail art. And yes we were watching a Jennifer Aniston movie and drinking red wine. That was our last night. Where we got very drunk and ended up singing very loudly and dancing to Shania Twain in the living room. East Runton didn't know what had hit it.
