REVIEW: Pizza Express

Before I went to Pizza Express last week I couldn't remember the last time I'd been there! I walk past the one in Brighton al the time but it must have been a good few years since I bagged myself some
famous dough balls!

I was asked to go to the Jubilee Street restaurant to give it a whirl and I was pleasantly surprised. I took my other half with me and we were shown to our seats straight away. We ordered a bottle of red (when in Rome) and looked through the menus. I hadn't realised before I went that they'd now started doing Gluten Free pizzas. I try to avoid lots of bread so the option of having a pizza that was gluten free was a big yes from me! We began by sharing the Antipasto platter.

I had the pesto gluten free pizza for main and Harry went for a calzone which was about the size of his head! I tasted a bit and it was yummy. My pizza was delicious although there was slightly a bit too much tomato sauce but I'd definitely have it again.

For dessert I went for the Banoffee Pie (my favourite) and Harry went for the Tirimisu (his favourite) so we were happy as larry as we squeezed our desserts in.

Thank you so much Pizza Express for having us. We were supposed to be going out after but we were so full we walked home cradling our very full bellies.
